21st Century Community Learning Centers After-School Career Academies Program

The Workforce Investment Board of Passaic County's 21st Century Community Learning Center After-School Career Academies Program operates through after-school centers located at the Academy of Health Sciences; Academy of Law and Public Safety and Sports Business Management and Administration; and Paterson Catholic Regional High School, all in Paterson.  The after-school programs are open Monday through Friday during the school months.

The goal of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers After-School Career Academies Program is to educate participating students about the availability of employment in high demand/high growth sectors within Northern New Jersey by working with students to improve their academic achievement in the areas of math and language arts.  With linkages to Norther New Jersey WIRED and alliances with professional organizations, our program will expose each student to potential careers and work with them to prepare a career map so that they will be able to achieve their goal of a job/career in a high demand/high growth sector.
